Very different looking bike, small and compact with loads of electronics stuff (Traction Control, Quick Shifter, Variable ABS etc.) and 140Bhp on tap The quality of the parts and the machine fabrication is fantastic. When I needed to remove the handlebars, the adjusters and cover plates are a work of art. The wheels are really trick and make the bike stand out
One thing I changed was the exhaust, so got the QD system which I think makes the bike look even better and sounds fantastic. The original didn't look to have the same quality look of the rest of the bike. As you'd expect from an MV is handles very well even with a 200 section tyre at the rear

Had the bike a few years and covered about around 2700 miles. Only had the initial first service from the dealer which went without any unexpected incidents and was reasonably priced at Krazy Horse in Bury St. Edmunds I changed Oil and filter each year, but with a very low mileage nothing else needs doing I found one slight weakness is on the fork setup as the lower sections have no protection from stones being flicked up and hitting the tube, which results in the seal giving way. It was only the outer black coating which was nicked, but enough to need to be fixed and caused a leak. Suspension front and rear is hard for the roads around where I live. On nice flat roads it's great , but not on bumpy back roads out in the countryside. What also doesn't help is the fly-by-wire throttle. That combination proved a bit awkward to live with at first. I played with the front and rear suspension settings, there's a lot of room for adjustment on these. I also filled the front with a lower weight oil as wasn't getting on with the 7.5 on said bumpy roads around here. Had the bike for over 4 years and put a smile on my face each time I went in the garage. Eventually sold in 2020 as wanted to do more mid range rides (200-300 miles) and this isn't the type of bike suited for the types of journeys planned.

I felt the console and associated switch combinations to operate were not the best. Don't get me wong, they worked without fault, but they are not the best visually and there's way too much going on when all you want is to see your speedo and tacho most of the time. Trying to remember where each option is located, which key combination to use etc. was a real faff. Bike is way too jerky on either Normal or Sport settings if you are going through a 30mph section and having to switch modes to effectively the Rain setting to dumb down the hair trigger happy throttle each time wasn't the best. |

Fork Seal replacement 2017 Reasonably easy to take the forks off these, but it does require removing things like the damper and various clamps on the bars etc. Also need to cut off the cable ties to take the speedo drive cable off with the LHS fork Forks themselves come apart fairly easily
